How Did I Create This Blog?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The first steps in creating this blog involved exploring the possible ways to build a blog:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Code the blog myself and find a hosting platform to run it on.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Use an application designed for creating blogs with all the necessary tools.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Pay someone to create the blog for me.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    After analyzing these options, I decided that using a blog creation application was the best solution. Creating the blog myself would take too much time and energy, and while paying someone was a viable option, as a student, saving money is essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Once I made this decision, it was time to start building the blog. Below is a list of the steps I followed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Choose the Software<\/strong>: I decided to use Combell after some research. Combell is easy to use and set up. Additionally, as a Howest student, I received a free Combell license, which saved me a lot of money.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Obtain a License<\/strong>: I got a Combell license through academic software.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Get a Domain Name<\/strong>: I acquired a domain name for the blog via Combell.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Select the Best Hosting Option<\/strong>: I purchased the most suitable hosting plan for my blog.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Configure the Website<\/strong>: I set up the initial configuration for the website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Choose a CMS<\/strong>: I opted for WordPress as the content management system for the blog.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. Enhance Security<\/strong>: I changed the default WordPress password for security reasons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

      • About Me<\/strong>: A page introducing myself.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Home Page<\/strong>: I restructured the home page to make it user-friendly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

      • How I Created This Blog<\/strong>: A page detailing the process of creating the blog.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Events Page<\/strong>: Pages for various events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
